The current state of our nation cries out for the recovery of foundational values. The post-9/11/01 world is one in which we are living with a new vulnerability. New philosophies of statecraft are being proposed and new policies are emerging. Without the recovery of the democratic idealism upon which this nation was built, we will abdicate moral leadership in the world, despite our position as sole superpower. Separation of church and state does not render spiritual values irrelevant to national and global concerns. We need to pray for a Great Spiritual Awakening.

On this website, I will try to report on what I am thinking, praying for, and doing. I invite those who want to be part of the spiritual renewal of the nation to be in touch. We may find ourselves in partnership for prayer and action in the days ahead.
